Students are introduced in real-life situations of adding co-founders, management team, advisors, board members, investors and others. There are several key considerations as the company continues to grow and employees change and founders move-on.
Identifying Your Problem and Value Proposition
What is the human or technology problem you solve? Or are you an individual or company that has created a great idea and you are now looking to apply your product or service to an existing problem. Learn the importance of identifying that problem and defining your value proposition
Lean Startup
The “Lean Startup” has become the Silicon Valley Bible for startup companies. It helps companies drive and steer their startup for ongoing product development.

Companies will be introduced to the components of a pitch using the i.Think Canvas. Developing a compelling Pitch Deck and Presentation is a lengthy process. It is not uncommon for a company to go through at least 30 different iterations of a deck before it is ready to present to investors or potential customers.
Raising Capital
A very key component of your business. How can you grow your company? Will you need capital? If so, what are the considerations to raising capital? How does Silicon Valley provide capital, in what form, how do you raise it? What do Angels and VC’s expect? Is Crowdfunding a good alternative? What happens to your company after you raise capital?
Go-to-Market Strategies
How do you take your great product or service to market? Are you focused on global market? What is your strategy? Learn how you identify the key components of your strategy and create a plan to execute
Lead Generation
